Ancient 'Iceman' shows signs of balanced last meal

The stomach contents of the corpse, widely known as Oetzi the Iceman, offer a snapshot of what ancient Europeans ate more than five millennia ago.

Workers in a metropolitan sewer district have amassed an impressive collection of toys, eyeglasses and other objects that made their way through the city’s sewer system.

The beer has been in high demand since it hit the shelves nationwide a few days ago and the whole 10,000-bottle lot had been sold out ahead of Monday’s summit.

The turnaround since then has been remarkable, with major investments that have brought new jobs, the rebirth of neighborhoods whose best days were half a century ago and the restoration of street cleaning and lighting.
