    The 13abc I-Team once again taking you behind the scenes of testing to make you sure you have clean drinking water. Last week we took you right to Lake Erie to see how the testing begins. It then goes to a lab for analysis. Now the I-Team is taking you to that lab to see the process. That lab is the Ohio State Stone Laboratory on Put-In-Bay. They've know about microcystin for a long time. But with Toledo's water crisis it's getting more attention.

    Norwalk Public Works says an algae bloom situation is getting better in a northern reservoir. We're told that body of water was treated overnight, and the algae appears to be dying. Norwalk officials say they detected a possible harmful bloom Monday in the Upper Reservoir.     One person is dead after a semi crash in Lake Township. It happened just after 3 p.m. Friday afternoon on the corner of State Route 163 and Fostoria Road. Troopers say a car was stopped at a stop sign and then pulled out in front of the truck. The driver of the car was killed on scene. The semi driver was flown to Mercy Saint Vincent's with serious injuries. There's no word on his condition at this time.

    A teenager is dead after a late night crash in Ottawa county. The accident happened just after 1:00 am on State Route 105 near milepost 8 in Harris Township. Troopers say Austin Limpf, who's 18, told investigators he fell asleep at the wheel, over corrected and flipped the car several times. A 14-year-old passenger was thrown from the vehicle and died. Limpf, survived the crash. The State Patrol is not releasing the victim's name. No charges have been filed.

    We have some sad news to pass along. A member of the 13abc family has died. You may not have seen him on air, but Rick Morris was part of the team that helped put 13abc on the air each and every day. Rick was an engineer and IT guru, who moved to Toledo to help launch the Fox affiliate in 1985. 17 years later he joined 13abc. Rick was a member of the Lucas County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and Skywarn. He was 60 years old.

A floculator is a plant component that mixes raw water from the lake with treatment chemicals to remove any sediment or algae. The plant administrator says the basin has been fixed and filled.

    The city is asking anyone who receives water from Toledo to avoid drinking or boiling the water.Chemists testing water at Toledo's Collins Park Water Treatment Plant tested for microcystin in excess of the recommended amount. This affects Lucas County and parts of Michigan.
