PHOENIX (AP) - Aaron Hill drove in three runs and made a game-ending diving stop as the Arizona Diamondbacks rallied for a 5-4 win over the Detroit Tigers last night. David Peralta tied a team record with two triples. Hill made his diving stop in the outfield grass to help Addison Reed work around a walk in the ninth for his 24th save.

DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Tigers lean on Kevin Rand in and out of season to keep players as healthy as possible to compete for championships. Tigers president and general manager Dave Dombrowski says the team might have nine people do what only one trainer did three-plus decades ago when his career in professional baseball began. Dombrowski believes taking care of players has become a bigger business.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Jonathan Lucroy homered leading off the bottom of the ninth to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds last night. It was Lucroy's second homer of the game and 11th of the season. It was his second career walkoff homer and both were against the Reds. Francisco Rodriguez pitched the ninth to earn the victory.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Zack Cozart left the Cincinnati Reds game with the Milwaukee Brewers after being hit in the right hand by a pitch while attempting to bunt. Cozart was hit by a pitch from Milwaukee starter Jimmy Nelson in the seventh inning. Cozart stayed in the game as a runner and was doubled off second base on an easy flyout to end the inning.
