    The city of Toledo is attempting to buy a piece of land near the Chrysler North Assembly Complex. At a special council meeting Monday, council voted to allow the city to bid on the property. At this point, it's not clear how much the city will offer for the land. The property for sale is the 4.12 acres where the former MedCorp was headquartered. The property has six buildings on it, as well as a home. The asking price is $975,000. The property could be used if Jeep wants to expand.

The district announced Wednesday that it will being randomly giving students breathalyzer tests as they enter sporting events such as football games. Todd Steele was arrested last month after Toledo Police officers pulled him over for driving without headlights and weaving across the road.     A gun scare near Findlay High School has police considering charges. It happened Friday around 9:15 a.m. Security at Findlay High School contacted city police after there were reports of a man shooting at birds with a handgun. That was on Swing Avenue. According to a police report, when officers showed up, the suspect ran. Police caught him on the 600 block of West Foulke. Turns out, the gun was a BB gun, and the suspect was a juvenile. Still no word on whether there will be any charges.

    The driver of this car is physically all right after the vehicle veered off the road, landed in a ditch and caught fire. It happened overnight on Rodesiler Highway in Lenawee County near Ridgeville.A 13abc employee took this picture of the charred vehicle around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.Part of the highway was closed for a while, but it has since been reopened. Deputies tell 13abc they're investigating whether or not alcohol was a factor in the crash. The driver was not hurt in the accident.
