11/18/2017 - Starts: 7:00 PM
Springfield High School Auditorium 1470 S. McCord Road, Holland, OH 43528
The Springfield High School Blue Devil Drama Club is pleased to announce their production of Charlotte’s Web. The play will be performed on November 17, 18, 19th in the High School Auditorium. The Friday and Saturday night curtain will be at 7:oopm. Saturday afternoon and Sunday curtain is at 3:00pm.
The Children's Literature Association named this "the best American children's book of the past two hundred years," and Joseph Robinette, working with the advice of E.B. White, has created a play that captures this work in a thrilling and utterly practical theatrical presentation. All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship.
Go to www.BlueDevilDrama.com for more information or to purchase your tickets early. Tickets will be available at the door beginning one hour before show time. Tickets are $10 adults/ $8 students and seniors/ Premium seating $12/ Reserved seating. ###

HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER…AT THE CARVER HIGH REUNION
National playwrights, producers bring new twist to big theatre in intimate way

Toledo, OH—It’s been twenty years, and the Class of 1997 is looking forward to fun, music and memories at their alma mater, Carver High. Complete with fine dining, dessert and dancing, what they didn’t anticipate was a side of murder. Which one of these crazy classmates has a secret they’d kill for? Get ready for the hilarious, roller coaster ride where you are the lead detective on Saturday, November 18 at 5 p.m. at Aria Banquet Hall, 5969 Telegraph Rd. Toledo, Ohio, 43612.

While many alumni gather at reunions to see the class clown, prom king and queen, or the most likely to succeed, this reunion soon turns into a search for the culprit—and no one’s allowed to leave until they find the guilty party. Presented by Mystique Dinner Shows and JAB/ETM Productions, attendees will enjoy an interactive, zany show complete with dinner and dancing—centered around a classic case of whodunit! Just when you think you’ve solved the mystery, think again. Critics agree that, “Audiences are literally blown away by the action, suspense, drama... and it's outrageously funny. All of this is followed by amazing food and dancing with this colorful cast. …A great play for the entire family. It was good, clean fun.”

General admission tickets are $45 and include show, dinner and dancing. VIP tickets are $60 and include show, dinner, dancing, preferred seating and an opportunity to be featured in the performance.
