I’m a local girl, born and raised in Oregon, OH. I grew up watching 13abc. I graduated from Clay High School (Go Eagles!) and went on to Bowling Green State University (once a Falcon, always a Falcon). During my three and a half years there, I worked all kinds of positions with our student station BG24, including my favorite one, Weathercaster. That's when I decided I wanted to pursue a career in Meteorology. So, after graduating from BGSU in 2014, I went on to Mississippi State University to study through their online program for Broadcast & Operational Meteorology. I plan on graduating with a certification in 2018.
During undergrad, I worked three internships here in Toledo. I worked with WTOL for a few months as a Meteorology Intern, and two internships with WTVG in Meteorology and News Production.
During my second internship, in October 2014, I was hired to work as a Weekend Assignment Editor. In September 2015, I was hired full time as a Web Producer, as well as fill-in Reporter, with a regular reporting position on Sunday nights. Then, I was honored to accept my current position as Traffic Anchor/Reporter in July 2016.
In my free time, I love to golf, rollerblade, and work on renovating our house.
I am so honored and excited to work in my hometown, and with such a great team. I thoroughly enjoy bringing you the news, and telling you about the things that you care about. I’m excited to continue doing just that. If you have a story idea, or just want to drop me a message, I can always be reached through email.
