TOLEDO (WTVG) — The only thing stolen may be a bottle of wine.

Toledo Police say a man pulled a knife and tried to hold up the clerk at the BP Gas & Express Mart at the corner of Douglas and Monroe.

That was around 4:40 AM Friday.

A short time later, six Toledo Police squad cars could be seen in the parking lot. Detectives were dusting for prints and talking with the clerk.

Officers say the man who pulled the knife did not get away with any cash or hurt anyone.

However, one witness tells police the man may have taken a bottle of wine on his way out.

Investigators are waiting for the manager to arrive so they can review surveillance video.
