The arson trial of Ray Abou-Arab has been pushed back to April 3, Abou-Arab's attorney's say the need more time to prepare his defense. Prosecutors charge that Abu-Arab set a fire back in January of 2014 to an apartment complex he owned, killing two Toledo Firefighters Jamie Dickman and Steve Machinski.
Abou-Arab's attorney also argued that the 5.8 million dollar bone was set to high and should be lowered to 1.7 million dollars. That money, they say, can be fronted by Abou-Arab's family and friends. In the end Judge Stacy Cook denied lowering his bond, and set jury questioning for the middle of March.
