FOSTORIA, Ohio (WTVG) - A company in Fostoria is closing its doors for good. Fram Group Operations is shutting down its Autolight Spark Plug Plant on Union Street. The closure will mean 62 Seneca County workers will be out of a job.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) notice filed with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, the plant will being its closing process on or about, but not before, Jan. 31, 2018.
The plant closure is expected to be permanent and the entire plant is expected to close. All production and maintenance employees are expected to be let go no later than May 31, 2018. All managerial, supervisory and administrative employees will be let go no later than July 31, 2018.
