Corner of Summit and Jefferson gets ready for 'Balance'

TOLEDO - (13abc, Action News) - It has been a while since there's been this sort of activity at the corner of Summit and Jefferson. Of course, Promedica's here. Fort Industry Square, no Promedica owns that. They're about to do something to it. And don't forget Hotel Seagate. That has new owners. But we're going to go inside the Pan Asian Grille right across the street from all of it. Let's check it out.

The official name is Balance Pan Asian Grille.

It's the fourth in the area.

CJ is one of the owners, he says "It's a fast- concept so nothing is overpriced, it's affordable, everything's made fresh."

Downtown has been on their radar for a couple years and they believe they are a great fit in this space, particularly with the lofts being buil and all the entertainment and business activity. CJ says,
"Just seeing downtown Toledo, seeing all this hapen right now. It's great. And we want to definitely keep this momentum going."

Right now, their momentum is focused on drywall and heating and electrical work.

Once that's out together, the rest of the build-out will zip along and CJ says, "Hopefully, we can serve our customers within a month or so."

Ambitious, but they're excited to be here.

Those are two very aggressive guys. They're going to be a big success, here. But they're part of a broader success. Not only do you have their grille, but you'll have a bank next door, cross fit gym and salon. There'll be a high-end coffee shop. There's one more space down here that's still available. But all of this connect with the Tower on the Maumee and the Riverfront Apartments. It's right here on the corner of Summit and Jefferson. And this place is ready to pop.
