(DETROIT) The famed North American International Auto Show may be headed to a new month.
The Wall Street Journal and other publications are reporting that the show dates could be moved from January to October beginning in 2020. No decision has been finalized. Moving the dates of the show would probably require negotiation with Cobo Center, home to the auto show.
Shifting dates to October would avoid the harsh January winter weather and provide greater space between the Consumer Electronics Show held one week before the auto show in Las Vegas.
