Firefighters battled house fire near Dundee Monday morning

MONROE COUNTY, Michigan (WTVG) - Dispatchers in Monroe County tell 13abc that firefighters were on scene of a house fire on N Custer Rd, between Monroe and Dundee.

Dispatchers say that the call came in around 9:30 AM from someone driving by the home on the 5800 block of N Custer Rd who saw smoke coming from the roof.

It's not clear at this time if anyone was inside.

Dispatchers describe the house as a one-and-a-half story home "fully involved" in flames.

While crews battled the flames, N Custer was closed between Doty and N Raisinville.

Responding departments include LMR (London Maybee Raisinville), Exeter, Monroe, Ida, Dundee and Monroe Twp. Monroe Community Ambulance is also on scene.
