WTVG - A woman who was seriously hurt by a falling tree in Central Park grew up in Ottawa Hills.
ABC News and other media outlets are reporting that 39-year-old Anne Monoky Goldman was walking with her three children Tuesday morning when a huge tree came down on top of them.
Good Samaritans joined forces to free them from the branches.
The kids had bumps and bruises but Monoky Goldman, originally listed in serious condition, has been upgraded to stable condition.
Anne Monoky Goldman works as a fashion editor in New York. She grew up in Ottawa Hills.
ABC News in Manhattan reports that Monoky Goldman tried to shield her two young children from the falling tree.
