PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WTVG) - Former Central Catholic High School quarterback DeShone Kizer heard his name selected by the Cleveland Browns during the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
If Kizer starts the first game of the 2017 season at quarterback for the Browns, his name will become part of a lengthy list of starting quarterbacks for the Browns since the franchise returned to Cleveland in 1999.
Bruce Gradkowski is one of the names on this list to start at quarterback for the Browns since 1999. Gradkowski played one game for Cleveland during the 2008 season.
The former Rockets quarterback shared his thoughts with 13abc on the Browns drafting Kizer and what advice Gradkowski would share with Kizer as he works toward that starting role in Cleveland.
