TIFFIN, Ohio (WTVG) - Garrett Gray leaves Tiffin University but the Dragons will not soon forget his name.

Gray won a NCAA Division II Wrestling National Championship as a heavyweight. The Clay HIgh School graduate put a big mark on his final match by not only winning the national title, but he also pined in opponent for the win.

Gray finishes the 2016-17 wrestling season as the NCAA DIvision II leader in pins with 19. He says this will likely be the end of the road for his wrestling career as he plans on pursuing opportunities with his Criminal Justice degree after graduate from Tiffin this spring.
