How Fast is the International Space Station Moving? (and details on tonight's flyover)

TOLEDO, Ohio The International Space Station will pass over NW Ohio and SE Michigan between 6:46pm and 6:52pm. Skies should be clear for the flyover.

Here are some facts about the ISS:

-The ISS is moving at 17,500 mph
-The ISS is around 240 miles above the Earth
-The ISS has two bathrooms and a gym
-The solar array is as big as 8 basketball courts (the sun's light reflects off of this array)
-The ISS was launched 11/20/1998
