TOLEDO (13abc Action News) - It doesn't care how tall you are or how short you are.

It doesn't care if you have black hair or brown, blonde hair or red.

And it doesn't care if you have green eyes or blue.

The Centers for Disease Control says 18.4 million adults aged 18 and over currently have asthma.

And the number of children under age 18 years who currently have asthma is 6.2 million.

Those numbers are leading to a lot of doctor office visits and a lot of missed days of school.

And did you know ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital (TCH) is the first organization in Ohio to achieve Joint Commission certification for pediatric asthma.

We decided to dive into the discussion this week on In Touch.
