Southbound US 23 in MI back open after jackknifed semi

DUNDEE, Michigan (WTVG) - A jackknifed semi closed all southbound lanes of US 23 in Michigan for hours Monday.

It happened just before 10:30 AM near Dundee.

Monroe County dispatchers tell 13abc that snowy conditions are to blame for the crash. In fact, dispatchers say that numerous spin-outs were reported across the county while the snow was falling.

All lanes reopened around 1:00 PM.
