TOLEDO (WTVG) -- Preparing to launch a new vehicle can be fun.
Workers from the FCA Toledo Assembly Complex are getting ready to roll out the new Jeep Wrangler in a few weeks.
First, they're building communication skills in the classroom.
It's part of a week-long training program for employees of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, partnering the company with The University of Toledo and Northwest State Community College.
Classes take place at UT's Scott Park Campus. At the end of the program, all 2,200 employees of FCA will have learned about leadership, problem solving and working together before they head back to the line.
"They work together because they realize that one person cannot do it," says UT professor and instructor for the program, Dr. Anand Kunnathur.
Dr. Kunnathur says a group exercise like assembling a model Jeep can bring these employees together to build a team.
