Local teens in custody for I-75 rock throwing death in Michigan

VIENNA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJRT) - Police sources say a handful of local teens are in custody following the death of a Mt. Morris, Michigan man.

13abc's sister-station WJRT reports that Kenneth White, 32, was killed when a rock crashed through the windshield of the work van he was a passenger in on Wednesday night.

Police believe the teens threw the rocks intentionally over the Dodge Road overpass onto the southbound lanes of I-75.

White was riding in the passenger seat of a van when one of the rocks came crashing through the windshield, killing him.

Crime Stoppers had posted billboards around the area Thursday seeking information. Police tell WJRT those billboards are being pulled.
