Louisville Title donates thousands to DART program

TOLEDO (13abc Action News) - The Lucas County Sheriff Office's DART program is getting an early Christmas present.

For the second year in a row, Louisville Title has made a sizable financial donation to the cause.

DART stands for Drug Addiction Resource Team.

It's mission is to stop the profound number of deaths of our friends and loved ones caused by opiate overdoses while helping victims to overcome their addictions.

They also aim to educate and support the family and friends of these victims.

Tuesday, Louisville Title handed over a check for $13,000 to Lucas County Sheriff John Tharp.

That money represents a percentage of all its closings.

The funds will be used to provide support for DART-related efforts.
