Lucas Co. Sheriff looking for help finding kidnapping suspects

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - The Lucas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying three men who first kidnapped and then released a woman.

Deputies say around 1:45 PM on Friday, three men forced a woman into their minivan.

The woman was taken near South Reynolds Road and South Willcrest Drive.

Authorities say the victim was then released in the area of Hill and McCord because the suspects thought they had been seen by her relatives.

The suspects are described as three black men in a light blue Ford Windstar minivan.

Deputies say the driver of that van was an older male wearing a green t-shirt and was approximately 5’11” and 200lbs with well-trimmed facial hair.

Another suspect wore a black Nike jacket and was approximately 5’8” tall and weighed 200lbs.

The third suspect wore a red hoodie and a baseball cap.

The van is rusted along the bottom and witnesses say it stalled frequently and had a loud muffler.
