TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A standoff is over and a man is in custody after SWAT forced their way into a home on the 1700 block of Tremainsville early Sunday morning.

At about 4:00am Sunday, a woman called 911 saying her boyfriend was on the porch when he pulled a gun and fired several rounds near her and a friend.

The man then went inside the home and refused to come out when officers arrived. Toledo Police say they attempted to negotiate with the man for two hours. SWAT eventually fired tear gas through the windows and forced entry into the home.

The suspect was taken into custody and no one was hurt.

According to court documents, the suspect is Vicente Lopez. He's charged with inducing panic and discharge firearm on or near prohibited premises. Lopez is due in court Monday morning.
