Many snow blowers not starting after back to back mild winters

TOLEDO, OHIO (WTVG) - With more cold and snow in the forecast you may have to bring out the shovels soon. The weather is also sending those with snow blowers scrambling to get them ready.

Sylvania Mower Center says a lot of service and repair orders have been coming in over the past few weeks in anticipation for more snow. Many running into carburetor problems.

With the last two winter’s running mild, snow blowers have been sitting mostly unused for a long time. The old gas in the tank and lines is causing many to not start. Service shops are busy fixing as many as they can. But say check your snow blower and bring them in as soon as possible. It will likely take a few days for you to get it back.
