WTVG - According to a release from the Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a series of suspicious fires in Raisinville Township.
"Troopers from the Michigan State Police Monroe Post are investigating multiple suspicious fires that occurred in Raisinville Township on Sunday, October 22, 2017. The fires were intentionally set to various property items that were stored outside homes, such as; wood piles and lawn furniture. It appears that the fires were set between Midnight and 7am in the backyards of homes in the Raisin Ridge Manufactured Home Community and on Aberdeen Lane."
Residents in that area are requested to review any home video surveillance footage from that time period, and contact the Monroe Post if evidence is located which can assist with the investigation. Residents are reminded to remain vigilant, and call 911 to report any suspicious persons or activity in the area.
