Mom takes on Central Catholic's dreadlocks policy

TOLEDO, OHIO (13 Action News)
Maylin Wattley is upset that her son Malachi will have to cut his hair, if he chooses to stay at Central Catholic.
Malachi is a freshman. Maylin says Malachi has been growing his dreadlocks since he was two years old.
His family originates from the Virgin Islands where the length of his dreadlocks is a spiritual symbol of strength.
She says Malachi was given a detention last week for his dreadlocks and was told to cut them.
