TOLEDO, Ohio (13abc First Warning Weather) – Most of October has been warm and sunny, but that weather pattern is ending just as our last full October week is beginning. Heavy rain is likely Monday afternoon.
More showers are likely Monday night and on Tuesday. Scattered light showers are possible in spots on Wednesday. Rain totals will be highest along the Indiana border where 2" could fall. About 1" of rain is expected along I-75. A half inch to 1" of rain is possible east of I-75.
Monday will start off with light winds, but it will become breezy during the evening with wind gusts around 30 mph. Tuesday will be windy at times with top gusts around 35 mph.
The cold air will slowly return early this week. Highs will be in the upper 60s Monday. The low to middle 50s are expected on Tuesday. Highs will only be in the upper 40s by Wednesday. Another pocket of cold air will move into the area this weekend. Highs will be in the middle 40s Saturday and Sunday. Lows will be in the upper 20s to the middle 30s. Patchy to widespread frost is expected on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings this week.
