BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (13abc Action News) - Ohio's Department of Transportation says they have plenty of supplies to keep fighting winter weather conditions in Northwest Ohio.

13abc checked with ODOT District Two Spokeswoman Rebecca Dangelo who says, "Each ODOT county facility is adequately stocked to get through the next few storms, and we regularly restock during the winter." Winter weather could be headed our way on Saturday.

Since October, ODOT says more than 27 thousand tons of salt plus 1.3 million gallons of liquid de-icer have been used on Northwest Ohio highways.

ODOT asks motorists to be careful and allow extra time for traveling during hazardous driving conditions. Roads may appear to be clear but could be slick.
