Police make arrest in Monroe home invasion

MONROE, Mich. (WTVG) - Monroe Police say a man is behind bars after allegedly walking into a family's home uninvited and unannounced. According to police, the suspect was unarmed and entered a home on St. Mary's Avenue through the front door. Police say a woman and her children were home at the time. They were upstairs in a bedroom. The man did not hurt them, but showed mental instability and made several successful and unsuccessful attempts to physically contact the adult woman. Police arrested the suspect at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
