MAUMEE, Ohio (WTVG) - Some Maumee residents say drivers speed down their neighborhood streets.

Brian Morawski said people drive 40 to 50 miles per hour near Shelly, Saco and Seventh Streets in Maumee when they're supposed to travel 25 miles per hour.

When school is in session, residents said student drivers are a part of the problem.

Morawski said, "there's a lot of kids in this neighborhood. They need to be more aware. You're in a residential area, you can't drive like and idiot."

Residents said when drivers turn off the Anthony Wayne Trail they want to do the same speed down neighboring streets.
