TOLEDO (WTVG) -- When you're working with food that's ready-to-eat, you have to wear gloves. If you're not wearing gloves, it's a health code violation.

A sanitarian spotted that violation at the Church's Chicken at South Ave. and The Anthony Wayne Trail.

During the last Standard Health Inspection, this Church's Chicken had 10 Violations, including 4 Critical. Among the violations:

X Employee touching ready-to-eat food with bare hands while bagging cooked french fries.
X Lettuce and coleslaw holding above 41F.
X Employee washing utensils without rinsing them.

13abc sent a message to Church's Chicken through its corporate website. We're still waiting to hear back.

Next, the Rudy's Hot Dog on Monroe St. had 13 Violations. Out of those, 4 Critical:

X Soft serve machine is not being cleaned/sanitized daily.
X Shake machine observed with accumulation.
X No date marking observed on food on grill line.

13abc emailed Rudy's Hot Dog. We're still waiting for a reply.

Finally, a place you've seen on the Restaurant Report Card before. In fact, during the past two years, it's had 10 or more violations 5 times.

That place is The Wings Station at Secor and Sylvania Ave.

During the latest Standard Health Inspection, The Wings Station had 15 Violations, 6 of which were Critical. Among the violations:

X Knives observed with stuck on debris.
X Food debris in hand washing sink.
X Gnats active in the kitchen.

13abc called The Wings Station and left a message with an employee. We are still waiting to hear from the owner.
