Security heightened at Rogers High School

TOLEDO, Ohio (13abc Action News) - Toledo Public Schools officials say security will be increased at Rogers High School for classes Wednesday.

The notification comes after district officials say they were made aware of a threat regarding a possible incident at the school.

Toledo police and TPS security have looked into the matter and do not believe the threat is credible.

Deputy Superintendent Brian Murphy said in a statement, "Student and staff safety is the number one priority for Toledo Public Schools and that is why additional security measures are being taken."
