TOLEDO (13abc Action News) - 13abc Action News continues to follow the trek back to class.

This morning, Toledo Public Schools are back at it. As we mentioned yesterday, this year marks the first time in a long time that classes have begun this early. Superintendent Romules Durant says this will give teachers a chance to hold exams before the Christmas/winter break.

A week from today, the summer break ends for students and teachers in the Springfield Local Schools. Superintendent Matt Geha enters his first year at the helm. He says he's looking forward to the enthusiasm 16 new teachers will bring to the district. Geha and his family have been linked to education and education initiatives in northwest Ohio for decades.
