TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Toledo Public Schools spokesperson tells 13abc that a Grove Patterson Academy Elementary School bus "fell into a sinkhole" during the morning route Thursday.
It happened on Parkwood near Baldwin.
Patty Mazur with TPS explains that 15 students were on the bus at the time. She says another bus was able to pick up the students from the scene and take them to school.
13abc crews on scene saw no damage to the bus involved.
Ignazio Messina with the City of Toledo tells 13abc that emergency water crews are working to assess the damage, and that the sinkhole may have been caused by a water main break. Messina says that workers with the city will shut water off in the area and work on repairs.
