Repairs continue after gas line hit downtown

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A four inch medium pressure gas line was hit by a third party contractor doing work near the intersection of Adams and Superior.

Columbia Gas crews shut off gas to the area which impacted about 13 business customers.

Toledo Fire dispatchers say that a coffee shop and Subway in the area were evacuated earlier.

No injuries reported.

Dispatchers say the intersection has now reopened to traffic.
