Toledo auto show opens next Thursday

(TOLEDO) - Car and truck fans will be streaming into Seagate Convention Centre Thursday for the annual Toledo Auto Show.

This year's show features a chance to win a 2-year lease on a 2018 Toyota Corolla. The winner will be drawn on Sunday afternoon. Fiat-Chrysler will provide "ride and drive" options for selected vehicles and Toyota will have their "Drive Center" available at the Summit Street entrance.

A Kids Zone will be on site featuring a bounce house and inflatable slide. During the weekend, children can learn about and visit animals from the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium.

Tickets for the show that begins Thursday cost $8.00 for adults at the box office and $6.00 on line. Students and seniors are $6. Children under age 9 are free when accompanied by an adult. The public show happens Thursday, Feb. 8 from 3:00-9:00pm, Friday from Noon until 9:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am until 9:00pm and Sunday, February 11 from 10:00am until 5:00pm.

A preview gala takes place Wednesday night hosted by 13abc's Lee Conklin and Diane Larson. The gala is a fundraising event sponsored by the Toledo Automobile Dealers Association with proceeds to area children's charities and requires separate ticketing.
