TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - The City of Toledo is set to flip the switch on its holiday tree. The lighting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 15.
Family fun activities are set to start at 5:30pm and run until 7:30pm at the Ottawa Park Ice Skating Rink and Shelter House. The event will feature carols performed by local school choirs and bands, carriage rides, food trucks, craft activities, free hot cocoa and popcorn and the lighting of the 60 foot blue spruce tree.
The city also plans to have ice skating, as long as the weather permits.
