TOLEDO,OH ( 13abc Action News) - Sabra Dipping Company has issued a voluntary recall on some of its hummus and spreads.
They say there's a possible listeria contamination.
The FDA says the affected products were manufactured before November 8th at a plant where listeria has been found.
Consumers should throw away any product with a "best before" date through January 23, 2017 on the lid.
Listeria can cause serious and sometimes deadly infections in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.
No other Sabra products are affected. In particular, Sabra products not included in the recall are: Sabra Organic Hummus, Sabra Salsa, Sabra Guacamole and Sabra Greek Yogurt Dips.

The company has taken steps to correct the problem.
