TOLEDO (13abc Action News) - In a new study just released, WalletHub says Owens Community College is in the bottom 2% of hundreds of community colleges across the United States.
They say the goal was to determine where students can receive the best education at the cheapest rates.
Analysts point out the data set ranges from the cost of in-state tuition and fees, to student-faculty ratio, to graduation rate.
In the study, Owens Community College ranked in the bottom 14% for cost and financing factors, in the bottom 17% for what they called education outcomes, and the school was ranked in the bottom 16% for student achieving desired career outcomes.
The fall semester starts today for students at O.C.C.
