PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio (13abc Action News) - A boil advisory is in effect for a small portion of Perrysburg Township until 3:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The Northwestern Water and Sewer District announced the advisory Monday afternoon for areas near the mobile home communities of Friendly Village and Meadows of Perrysburg.
The District states that during the advisory residents are advised to bring water to a boil for at least three minutes, then let it cool before use.
Water should be boiled for drinking, ice-making, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and for all food preparation.
A release states crews from the District were in the process of replacing an old hydrant on Oregon Road when the valve failed causing the water to be temporarily shut off during repairs.
