Water quality in the "clear" again

(TOLEDO) - The City of Toledo placed its water quality dashboard back to "clear" from the previous reading of "watch" on Monday.

In a news release, the mayor's office said that test results for microcystin indicate "non-detect" in tap water and 3.97 in untreated water in the Lake Erie intake crib. The dashboard is "clear" when there is less than 5 ppb detected in the raw water intake.

The city says that "water treatment professionals are providing safe, clean drinking water and continue to monitor conditions in the intake crib in Lake Erie 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
