INDIANAPOLIS (WTVG) - DeShone Kizer is locked in on his future as an NFL quarterback.
If it doesn't directly involve the pigskin, the Central Catholic High School graduate has put everything aside. That includes marketing opportunities and on the advice of his agent - social media.
Kizer's focus on his craft is key for him as he's projected as a first round pick in April's NFL Draft. But even with a first round tag on his name, that also comes with the potential of playing for a bad team.
The former Fighting Irish quarterback says he's well aware of the situation and that his experience going through a bad season in 2016 but also a championship mentality with the Irish on Cherry Street with help him in the beginning of his NFL journey.
