TONTOGANY, Ohio (WTVG) - A.J. Digby is a few weeks into his freshman year at Mount Union, but before he sprinted back to campus from the Paralympics in Brazil he made a stop at his high school for a homecoming celebration.
Digby is a graduate of Otsego High School and he met with friends, family and others from Otsego Schools on the high school track Sunday afternoon. Many well wishers stopped by to see the sprinter as he is fresh off the plane from Brazil.
The Purple Raider looks forward to competing again in four years, but right now, wants to make sure he is ready for the NCAA Track and Field season. Digby still has to wait for an answer on his college eligibility through the Mount Union compliance office, but says he is optimistic he will run this school year.
