Hi everybody! Thanks for visiting my bio page.
I suppose you're here for some behind-the-scenes tidbits, so here goes …
- I once delivered mail for a summer.
- My cat weighs more than 20 pounds.
- I play alto sax and was in the WMU Bronco Marching Band.
- My two kids are adorable (but a handful).
- I save the comics section for last.
- My wife is adorable (but a handful).
- I can't wait to get a new car.
- And I love watching 13abc!
O.K., so that last one wasn't exactly behind-the scenes. I'm trying, though.
Here's the formal stuff:
I've worked at WTVG since June of 2000, including two years in the Findlay bureau. Prior to that, I was at KKFX in Santa Barbara, CA and KGWC in Casper, WY. I was also an interpretive park ranger at the Silent City of Rocks in Idaho.
During my time at 13abc, I've received 4 Emmy nominations, two of them for "Tony & Todd's Roadside Attractions." Most recently, I was given the 2011 Medium-Market award for "Best Reporter" and "Best Breaking News" from the Ohio Associated Press. I am also now a board member.

One last tid-bit:
- I'm training to be a jedi. Shhhh.
May the force be with you.
