Sanaa Orra joined the award-winning 13abc News Team in 2002. Since then, Sanaa has contributed to an endless number of important stories and breaking news. She has been honing her news gathering & fact-finding skills since starting out as an assignment editor. It's this experience that makes her the thorough reporter she is today.
Her on-air responsibilities began in 2004 and since then, Sanaa has covered a wide range of stories.
Born in Toledo and raised in Oregon, Ohio, Sanaa is a northwest Ohio native. She graduated from Clay High School in 1999. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Toledo in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication. During her college tenure, she interned at a number of local television networks.
During her free time, Sanaa says she loves to read and enjoy the outdoors with her family. Sanaa lives in Maumee with her husband Said, and their two boys.
Sanaa is also actively involved in Toledo's legal community. She is proud to sit as the President of the Toledo Bar Association Ladies Auxiliary Inc., a local non-profit organization.
