I spent the following year assisting the Agricultural Meteorologist at U.K. and spent much of that time developing GIS climate maps for use by farmers across the state. I also learned how to create web pages and helped to maintain the U.K. College of Agriculture web site. It was that skill that landed me a job at the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine where I worked to put myself through graduate school and also met my husband, Gary.
I graduated from Ohio State with a M.S. in Atmospheric Science in 2000. Since then I've had the great fortune to work in several different places including the National Weather Service office in Nashville TN, WBOY in Clarksburg WV, WKJG in Fort Wayne IN and most recently WUPW here in Toledo.
I currently live with my husband and two children (along with our 2 cats and dog). I am also an avid runner (completed my first marathon in Oct. 2004), snowboarder, and general outdoor enthusiast.
I'd love to hear from you. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
