A Lucas County judge has set bond at $300,000 for Kevin Wolever. Police arrested Wolever in connection with the recent Toledo Fire Station incidents.  Fire Chief Luis Santiago and Toledo Police Assistant Chief Derrick Diggs held a press conference Sunday morning.  Officials confirm that the suspect, Kevin Wolever, 32, was arrested around 10:25 Saturday night and booked at the Lucas County Jail Sunday morning.

Wolever is a current Fire Inspector for the City of Toledo and is also the son of retired Toledo Fire Chief, Michael Wolever.  According to Fire Chief Santiago, Kevin Wolever went on paid administrative leave earlier this week for an undisclosed reason.  He says that Wolever was having "issues" but did not go into any further detail.

Wolever is charged with felonious assault and improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation.

Police and fire officials say the investigation is ongoing.
