Ritter Planetarium grand reopening

Ritter Planetarium on the University of Toledo campus is preparing for their grand reopening.

The planetarium now has a new 3D, 6.5 million pixel immersive experience.

UT is the only facility in the country to have installed the new digital projector, which has more than twice the resolution of the best HD television screens.

Ritter Planetarium will offer four free screenings at its public grand reopening October 29 at 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m.

General admission for future shows will be $6 for adults and $5 for children.
