Free food & drink for vets Sunday & Monday

To honor veterans and  thank them for their service, many restaurants are offering free food at participating locations on Sunday November 11th and Monday November 12th. Most require proof of military service such as a military ID card or a driver's license with a veterans designation.

  • Golden Corral - free dinner for between 4pm and 9pm on Nov. 12
  • Applebee's - free signature entree on November 11
  • Bar Louie - free meal on Nov. 11 - up to $10 in value and free non-alcoholic beverage.
  • Olive Garden - free entree on Nov. 11
  • Chili's -  free meal from 11am to 5pm on Nov. 11
  • Famous Dave's - free or discounted meal on Nov. 11
  • Texas Roadhouse -  free lunch on Nov. 12
  • Outback Steakhouse - free Bloomin' Onions & Cokes - Nov. 11 & 12
  • Little Caesar's - free Crazy Bread on Monday Nov. 12
  • Hooter's - free wings with the purchase of a drink on Nov. 11

It's a good idea to call ahead to the location and make sure they are participating in the offer.

    Ohio health officials have confirmed that two women have been hospitalized with the West Nile virus in state's first human cases. The Ohio Department of Health said Wednesday a 24-year-old woman in Muskingum County and a 78-year-old woman in Cuyahoga County have been hospitalized with encephalitis. That's an inflammation of the brain caused when someone is bitten by an infected mosquito.
