In September of 2011 I joined the Action News team at 13abc as the morning traffic reporter. I couldn't be happier to work at such a great station in a great city like Toledo!
Growing up in Livonia, MI, about fifteen minutes outside of Detroit, my friends and family will tell you that I was never shy in front of a camera. After high school, I decided to pursue a career in Broadcasting and attended Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts where I earned a certificate in Television Broadcasting. After graduating from Specs, I went on to receive a Bachelor of Artsin Communications from Siena Heights University in 2007.
While attending Siena, I got my first job in broadcasting as a traffic reporter for Las Vegas and Detroit on Sirius Satellite Radio. From radio, I moved on to TV where I worked asan intern for the Special Projects department at Channel 7 WXYZ-TV in Detroit. I worked many different positions during my 5 years at WXYZ but eventually landed a job on air as the fill-in traffic reporter.
In my spare time I like to read a good book, go to the gym, watch a Michigan football game and spend time with my friends and family. I'm very excited to be part of such a talented team here at WTVG and look forward to getting to know the people and the City of Toledo.
